Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On a brand new HP laptop I found there was a bookin.com item on the all programs menu. I tried to uninstall this by right clicking which did not do anything. I checked in installed apps and it was not shown there either. When I opened the file location and checked the properties of the booking.com shortcut i found that it pointed to an app called WizLink (executable - wizlink.exe)

Now, I can understand why some bloatware is installed but this is downright underhanded. Here is an application that is so hidden that it can't be uninstalled and with only one function. To deliver unsolicited promotional links to your start menu. We use software to protect ourselves from this sort of rubbish and here's HP deliberately infecting brand new computers with adware. Yes, I'm pretty sure this is HPs doing because every search result returned on this subject implies it has been found on HP computers.

I would like two things from HP. First of all a safe way to remove Wizlink in the form of an unistall package so there's no adverse effects and secondly an explanation of why you put adware on new computers?
