I'm planning on buying the HP Victus, AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, 16GB DDR5, 512GB SSD, 6GB NVIDIA RTX 4050 quite soon. I want to know what the TGP of that configuration/model is? The model is 15-fb2114AX.

Thank you! That helps clear things up a ton! I was worried because I saw some posts in the subreddit saying that the latest 4050/4060 models were coming locked at a 50w TGP for their graphics card(s).

[EDIT:] Those rumors are very unlikely if only given that this model comes with a 120-watt power supply: HP PartSurfer.

Thank you so much!!! Just one last question. Have the previous hinge issues been fixed in newer models like the fb2114AX? That's my only major concern left before buying the Victus. 

And also, is there only 1 ssd slot for this laptop?

The Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-fb3XXX (please verify that this is the laptop you are referring to) comes with only one M.2 NVMe SSD slot.

Also, this laptop likely comes with a 120-watt power brick, though the manual does mention 100-watt, 150-watt and 200-watt power brick options.

I have not heard/seen any complaints about hinge issues with this laptop, but mind you, this platform was only released in January 2025. It stands to reason that HP fixed any hinge issues, but it would be a good idea to purchase an extended factory warranty in my opinion. -I would recommend this for any new laptop, not just HP.

I just went through the manual and I think it may come with a 200w power brick? I asked a redditor with the same laptop and he got a 200w power brick.  

The manual states that it is done fb-3xxx laptop, but the laptop I'm planning to buy is fb-2114AX, so maybe fb-2xxx? I have no idea since I'm new to HP naming and guides

Thank you for the clarification: indeed, the HP Victus 15-fb2114AX (A85SGPA) comes with a 200-watt power brick like you said!

I could not locate the maintenance and service guide/manual for the Victus by HP 15-fb2xxx models: even though HP references it here, it only gives you the 15-fb0xxx manual...
