You're not the only one @Dave232, I recently received the notification for updating HPSA to version 9 as well and it has been running flawlessly as a UWP application.

 

It almost seems as if it's a limited release sort of thing.

I have version 8 something on hp envy 360. it says i can update to version 9, but when i do it disappears - nothing gets installed. Now I remember i had the new version working on my laptop once.

I'm also running HP ENVY x360 Ryzen 2500U and I've got the update for version 9 and it runs, but there are some translations errors.
