Hi @fritzseel,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're encountering an issue with the HP Support Assistant login screen displaying incorrectly. This could be due to various reasons, including browser compatibility issues, cached data problems, or software glitches. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Clear Browser Cache: If you're accessing the HP Support Assistant through a web browser, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes cached data can cause display issues.

Try Different Browser: If you're using a web browser to access the HP Support Assistant, try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to one browser.

Update HP Support Assistant: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Support Assistant installed on your system. Updates may include fixes for display issues and other bugs.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly. A weak or intermittent connection can sometimes cause display issues.

Disable Browser Extensions: If you're using browser extensions, try disabling them temporarily to see if they are causing conflicts with the HP Support Assistant login screen.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

sorry, but problem persists:

I access HP Support Assistant locally, i.e. not via web browser. I realized however, I can log in via web browser without problem. But when starting HP Support Assistant from desktop, I can't login, it appears only a small narrow blank white field.

It happens too, that at a very short instant normal field size appears but instantly narrows back to a small field size. Maybe a problem with Kaspersky? Which data should I enter as an exception provided Kaspersky is responsible for that strange behavior?
