Hi:

The latest 3D Driveguard file can be found on the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

2nd file on the list.

 7.0.22.44692   6/7/2022

Microsoft Update Catalog

There is no executable file so you will have to manually update the driver from the HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor which can be found under the System devices category in the device manager.

Update: I have an SSD in my computer, so it seems to me that I don't need to install the driver. But I'm pretty confused by the fact that the driver is available for my computer, even though it already comes with an SSD.

The driver exists to install the 3D driveguard hardware.

Otherwise, it shows up as an Unknown device in the device manager.

That driver doesn't include the software needed for the device to work.

All of my HP notebooks have SSD'S and the 3D driveguard device.

I have installed the driver without the software on every one of them, and never had a problem.
