Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot access the different performance modes on my Laptop. Before the recent Nov. 2020 Windows 10 update, I had access to HP CoolSense or the updated version. Now I do not have the program and my pc is stuck on recommended or comfort mode, causing my PC to run slow when doing multiple things.
HP CoolSense will not work with the latest .net framwork. Only works with .net 3.5 or earlier

There is a way to downgrade .net

Hi, @thisThing 

 

You can't download net framework directly with W10.

 

What you need to do is this...

 

Go to the Windows control panel>Programs>Turn Windows Features on or off>a window will open.

 

Check the first box to install Net Framework 3.5, restart the PC after the installation is complete and then install HP coolsense software.
