Where can I find the BIOS driver for the HP Pavilion dv4-2145dx?

The HP Drivers and Software Page has been removed, but you can still download all required drivers from here:

(1) You will have to install windows 7 on computer <HP dv4-2145dx>

(2) then run winflash bios setup file [ sp49543.exe ] on windows 7

(3) You're done.

I am trying to put the BIOS driver on a flash drive. I don't have windows installed right now and I am trying to flash the BIOS without windows.

I am doing this because I wiped my laptop's hard drive and need the BIOS back,

Please take a look at this very useful youtube video to reflash your bios:

It explains how to correctly save the Bios flash files to a USB flash drive and then use it.

Try it out.

I don't see the "BIOS Update Utility" all I get is the InsydeFlash window

This file can only be run on HP dv4-2145dx

Use 7-zip to extract .exe file to get desired files to put on flash drive following the youtube video.
