I upgraded my 15-bs132nr laptop to Windows 11 Pro (which took more than a day to do), and now, weeks later, and after several updates, this computer is slower than a Commodore 64. I used to run a digital audio workstation on this, but I can't now. And that's a big problem.

I did all the recommendations: deleted unnecessary programs, disabled almost everything at startup, updated the BIOS and drivers to what I thought were the latest versions. But HP's Software and Driver Downloads page does not give Windows 11 as an option. So I have no idea if my BIOS version is correct for this laptop, or what else might be slowing it down to a crawl. Specs are:

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit Version: 26200.7171

Intel Core i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz

RAM: 16 GB (not upgradable)

System board: 832A 23.77
BIOS: F.76
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620

Version: 31.0.101.2135 (3/6/2025)

Any and all help welcomed. So far, there has been exactly nothing beneficial about this OS upgrade.
TIA
