Sorry for the late reply today i downloaded F.44 Rev.A and tried installing it using HP Support Assistant it was installing the update and then it froze for a while then rebooted itself when i checked the System Information the bios was the same i had a similar situation with a desktop that i updated the bios downloading the lastest version and installing it using HP Support Assistant it also froze but only for a minute or two rebooted itself when i checked the System Information the bios was updated.

I don't know why my notebook didn't update the bios but at least i'm glad i didn't brick my notebook.

I would recommend back up your files and data and perform system factory reset then try installing bios update.
