Which Os Came Preinstalled at my Laptop

Hi,

I have HP Pavilion 15-n210se Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR).

I want to know which Windows version came preinstalled at my laptop when i bought it.

Especially the pro or home etc as i have installed Windows 8.1 but it is still asking to activate my windows copy.

Hi:

All the specs indicate is your notebook came with W8.1 64 bit.

I have zipped up and attached below, a free utility that will show you the OEM product key and the version of W8.1 the key is good for.

If you are having problems with activation, there is a good chance your notebook may have come with W8.1 single language and you have the regular version of W8.1 installed and the single language product key won't work.

If that is the case, you have to install the W8.1 single language version and it should automatically activate.
