The first screenshot is from HP Website where they mentioned that the bios firmware they released is from Jan 10, 2020. But after installing the bios firmware, I ran Speccy (see 2nd screenshot) and found out that the bios update is actually 6 Dec 2019. So my question is why HP is misguiding with wrong information specially regarding the most crucial part bios update?

Hi:

 

The driver and BIOS release dates on the support pages are the dates the files were released, not the actual driver or BIOS file date.

 

If you look at every driver you have installed, the driver date showing up in your PC is not the release date shown on the support page.

 

As long as the driver or BIOS version that is listed on the support page is the same that is installed in your PC, that is all that matters.  The date is immaterial.
