Why doesn't HP update Thunderbolt 3 drivers?

Why are the Thunderbolt 3 drivers for HP laptops not being updated? This prevents use of the Thunderbolt 3 port on any modern docking station. I have tried multiple docking stations and cannot get it to work. The driver available for this laptop is dated from 2016. The BIOS for this laptop was just updated May of 2019, so why not give us the latest Intel Thunderbolt 3 drivers?

Than you, those drivers did indeed install. Not sure why they aren't posted on the download page for my laptop.

Unfortunately it only half solves the issue of using docking stations. It will work, but only if your laptop lid is open. You cannot boot the laptop with the lid closed for example. Too bad the BIOS doesn't allow this like it does on other laptops.
