Hi @Ilyasazharuddin,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Laptop 15s/EQ2xx has lost the Wi-Fi driver, and you’re unable to connect to the internet. Let’s go through a few steps to reinstall the driver and restore connectivity.

Check Device Manager for Missing Driver

Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.

Expand Network Adapters.

If you see your wireless adapter with a yellow triangle or “Unknown Device,” it means the driver is missing or corrupted.

Download the Wi-Fi Driver (using another device)

Since the laptop cannot connect to Wi-Fi, use another PC or phone with internet access.

Go to the official HP drivers page for HP Laptop 15s-EQ2xxx:
HP Support – Software and Drivers

Enter your exact model number (e.g., 15s-eq2xxx) and select Network Driver (Realtek/Mediatek/Qualcomm depending on your hardware).

Download the latest Wi-Fi adapter driver and copy it to a USB drive.

Install the Driver on Your Laptop

Plug the USB drive into your HP laptop.

Run the downloaded installer and follow on-screen instructions.

Restart your laptop after installation.

Update Using HP Support Assistant (if possible)

If you manage to get internet via an Ethernet cable or mobile hotspot, download HP Support Assistant from HP Support Assistant Download.

Open it, go to Updates, and let it automatically detect and install the correct Wi-Fi driver.

Enable Wi-Fi Adapter

In Device Manager, right-click the wireless adapter and select Enable device if disabled.

Also check Network & Internet Settings → Wi-Fi is turned ON.

Perform a Hard Reset (if not detected)

Shut down your laptop.

Disconnect the power adapter and remove any external devices.

Hold down the power button for 15 seconds to drain residual charge.

Restart and check if the adapter is detected.

I hope this helps.
