Im trying to install the latest driver for qualcomm but it will not let me install it.
The updater starts and extracts its files, then I click "install" it loads for a sec then the app just "shuts down" and does nothing

Hi @Aleex998
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I understand how frustrating it must be when the Qualcomm CPU driver refuses to install, especially since the updater starts but then abruptly shuts down.
Let’s go through some HP-specific troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue.
1. Run the Installer as Administrator
- Right-click on the Qualcomm driver setup file.
- Select Run as administrator.
- Try installing again.
2. Use HP’s Official Driver Page
- Visit the HP OmniBook X 14-fe0000 Driver Page and download the latest Qualcomm CPU driver.
- Ensure you’re installing the correct version for Windows 11.
3. Disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement
- Some drivers require signature enforcement to be disabled:
- Open Command Prompt (Admin).
- Type:bcdedit /set nointegritychecks on
- Restart your laptop and try installing the driver again.
4. Install in Compatibility Mode
- Right-click on the driver setup file → Properties.
- Go to the Compatibility tab.
- Check Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 10.
- Click Apply and OK, then try installing again.
5. Check for Conflicting Drivers
- Open Device Manager → Processors.
- Right-click on Qualcomm CPU → Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop and attempt to reinstall the driver.
6. Use HP Recovery Mode
- If the issue persists, try HP Recovery Mode:
- Restart your laptop and press F11 during boot.
- Select Troubleshoot → Advanced Options → Startup Repair.
- Let Windows attempt to fix any driver-related issues.
Let me know how it goes! I appreciate your patience while we work through this.
