Hi:

You should be able to use the W7 64 bit drivers from the HP 250 G4 business notebook on your model, except the audio, graphics, BIOS and firmware files.

https://www.support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-250-g4-notebook-pc/7609933

The 64 bit driver files also include the 32 bit drivers for everything else but the audio and graphics.

Under the chipset driver section if there are duplicate driver descriptions, you want the ones labeled as Braswell.

Your notebook has the Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi and BlueTooth 4.0 M.2 combination WLAN adapter, so you would use the Broadcom wireless and Broadcom bluetooth drivers from the above model's support page.

Here is the W7 32 bit graphics driver...the 3rd one down on the left side of the page.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26682/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?pr...

Here is the W7 32 bit audio driver.  Accept the agreement.  Download and install the 1st driver on the list.

Hi:

See if the usb driver directly from Intel works.  Download, unzip and run the setup application.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22824/Intel-USB-3-0-eXtensible-Host-Controller-Driver-for-...

Wireless:  According to the parts list for your model, it comes with the Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi and BlueTooth 4.0 M.2 combination WLAN adapter.

These would be the wireless and bluetooth drivers you need for that model wifi card...

The package contains the Broadcom wireless LAN drivers and utility that are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapter in supported notebooks that are running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72501-73000/sp72879.exe

This package contains the Broadcom Bluetooth driver and software for supported models that are running a supported operating system. Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 Driver is required to enable Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 devices and is compatible with Broadcom Bluetooth 3.0 and earlier versions.

You're very welcome.

I don't get it either, because those are definitely the W7 32 bit drivers you need for the Broadcom wireless card.

Please post the hardware ID for the device you see listed in the device manager labeled as a Network Controller.

That would be the wireless card that needs the driver.

Maybe HP put a different model wifi card in your notebook than the parts list indicated.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID...

https://www.howtogeek.com/193798/how-to-find-drivers-for-unknown-devices-in-the-device-manager/

Hopefully, we will get these last two items to work.

I found

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79001-79500/sp79095.exe

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek bluetooth in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems.

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78623.exe

from your suggestion on

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Software-and-How-To-Questions/Drivers-for-HP-Notebook-14-AR00...

And it works perfectly.

Appreciate the prompt and appropriate support throughout the issue resolution.

Thanks,

You're very welcome.

So, HP did substitute the wireless card with a different model with the same specs.

Glad everything works now.

Enjoy!
