Windows 10 Start Menu not opening

Hello everyone !

I am not sure what to do.... I have a issue with the Start menu not working so I downloaded the windows 10 start menu troubleshooter..... And this is what its telling me..."Microsoft.Windows.Shell.experienceehost" and "Microsof.Windows.Cortana" applications need to be installed correctly. The data base is corrupted.. Not fixed...

Then goes on to say current user needs permission to access the following registry keys..

HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\Windows/Current Version\DeviceAcces\global

I looked around and of course I can't uninstall these programs so any experience or direction to go ?

Not sure but I would try Ccleaner initially.

This quite good at deleting/removing proggies, and looking for dodgy registry entries.

If in doubt please ask.

Thank you Lill_Boy_Blue - I tried and it didnt help any so given the nature of whats transpired  I decided the best route will be to download the new  version of 1809, which I already have installed. yet it was taken off the market after I installed it so fix issuess with missing files and bugs. I know Midrosoft was sending updates to those who already download  1809 but I dont know how much water that holds since I see no major improvemet or Quality downloads for 1809. I can't help but to wonder if those issues are what effecting the performance and corrouption of the files. So I will post after completion of task.
