Hi All,
I'm planning to get this laptop (https://support.hp.com/lamerica_nsc_carib-en/document/c08197561) which does not come with Windows, in fact it comes with FreeDos.
I'm going to install Win10 on it, but it seems that no drivers are available for this product for Win 10 64 bits.
No Audio / Graphics / Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices / Network & Storage drivers.
I will have to check some HW monitoring tool like Speccy or HWiNFO to get more details on the individual components and get the drivers directly from the Manufacturer.
- For example the AMD chipset driver with Radeon Graphics from here : https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-mobile-processors-radeon-graphic...
- The "Realtek Wi-Fi 6 (1x2) and Bluetooth® 5.2 combo" driver can possibly be download from Realtek directly.
My question is, wouldn't it be possible to use the drivers from a similar HP product that also runs Ryzen 5700U ? In theory it should, but each time that I add the Product Number for a Ryzen 7 5700U laptop in the Software and Driver page, I end up with this laptop : https://support.hp.com/th-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15.6-inch-laptop-pc-15-e2000/2100372089/model/21...
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Ken

Hi, Ken:
The page works fine for me and presents a list of W10 drivers.
Are you using Microsoft Edge to access the support pages?
That is the browser the support pages were designed to work best on.
So, let me assume you need the basics...graphics, audio, touchpad, SD card reader...
These are from the support page you seem to be having a tough time with:
Graphics:
AMD High-Definition Graphics Driver - Lucienne
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp139001-139500/sp139330.exe
Audio:
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver - Lucienne/Barcelo
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp139001-139500/sp139333.exe
Touchpad:
ELAN Precision Touchpad Filter Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112147.exe
Fingerprint Sensor:
ELAN Fingerprint Sensor Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112141.exe
HP Wireless Button Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp136501-137000/sp136951.exe
SD card reader:
Alcor Micro Card Reader Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112140.exe
If you want the latest BIOS update, this is it.
I don't recommend jumping into that right off, but that is up to you.

Hi, Ken:
Yes, you should be able to use the drivers and software from the 15-e2xxx model series.
You can download the latest Realtek Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers from the links below.
Wifi:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp142001-142500/sp142005.exe
Bluetooth:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp142501-143000/sp142852.exe
Then if you have connection problems with the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter like almost everyone else does, manually update the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version found on the Microsoft update catalog's website.
For your convenience, I have zipped up and attached that driver below.
There is no executable file, so you have to manually update the driver from the RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter in the device manager.
To do that, go to the device manager.
Click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category.
Click on the RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC, and hope that the updated driver works better.

You're very welcome, Ken.
When I enter your notebook's product number (593F8EA) in the HP support site search window, this is the driver page that it brings me to:

Hi Paul,
Yes, but then when searching for dirvers it tells :
We were unable to retrieve the list of drivers for your product 😁
I think that I'm going to have a fun ride finding drivers lol.
Best regards, Ken

You're very welcome, Ken.
According to HP they are, and it makes sense since your notebook's processor is an AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700U processor is a member of the AMD Lucienne product family.
Cheers,
Paul
