BSOD keeps popping up with different messages, system thread exception not handled and page fault in nonpaged area. And some times my laptop automatically restarts. I have already updated my drivers (using device manager, except for my Nvidia video card) and checked for latest windows updates. However, I still have a problem.
I have cheked my HDD and memory for errors using "chkdsk /f /r" and "mdsched.exe", there were none.
I think it keeps crashing only when I watch videos or use Chrome, I said that because when I was downloading and installing updates I left the laptop running for houres and nothing happened. Aside from that, I have no other clue.

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand the computer gets a blue screen error, However, since you haven’t captured the error code or message,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Is that how your screen looks when connected to an external display? or does this happen only when playing the video online?
If it's only when playing online video content and doesn't happen offline, perhaps, you could check with an alternate browser such as Mozilla Firefox, etc...
Also, I would request you to follow the below steps to capture and reply back with the error message/code to identify the issue and find a permanent fix:
-
In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
-
In the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
-
Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to automatically restart, and then click OK.
-
Restart the computer to apply the change.
-
The computer no longer restarts automatically when a blue screen error occurs.
For more details: click here
Please reply back with the error code as the issue is code specific and it would be rather easier to provide an accurate solution using the same.
Let me know if those steps worked for you,
If they did, that's awesome!
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck

After I unchecked that box, I got BSOD once, with "memory-management" error. However, my laptop still restarts suddenly even when I don't use Chrome or play videos.
Update: half an hour after I posted this message (which when my laptop restarted), I got the same Problem on that picture above.

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
Did you check if the issue persists or occurs while you are on the BIOS screen (accessed by tapping on the F10 key during a restart),
If it occurs on that screen as well, I recommend you Contact HP to set up a repair service order:
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get the phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.
If I have helped you resolve the issue,
Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon
Followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'
And Have a great day ahead!
