Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I recently did I complete wipe of my hard drive using minitool wizard since my pc was running slow. After the wipe was complete I was stuck on a screen telling me I had no bootable os.

 

I was wondering if I re installed windows 10 without a product key would it still be activated as it was previously, or if I would have to purchase a new product key.

Hi:

 

If your PC came with W10, the product key is in the BIOS.

 

You don't need the key to reinstall W10.

 

Make bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

 

If your notebook was made in 2016 or later, it may be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can also use to reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
