Hi,
I had to reset my PC to get the general release of Windows 11 because in order to unsubscribe from the Dev channel you have to completely reset your PC.
While I was doing this I wasn't able to get drivers for some things. My PC filled in some of the gaps finding some drivers for Windows 11. A few days ago I tried to put a Micro-SD card into my PC, and it didn't detect it. Then I went to the driver page for my PC and found a driver for the Micro-SD card slot, the problem is that when I loaded up the driver to install it, it said that it wasn't compatible with my operating system. I know that the Micro-SD card works because I have a USB adapter and it detected the card when I plugged it into that.
I really just wanted to ask when will HP release Windows 11 compatible drivers?

Hi:
Since this is a peer to peer forum, no one here would be able to answer when HP will be releasing W11 drivers.
See if you can manually install the Realtek card reader driver from your notebook's support page.
That usually bypasses the OS check.
If you know what device in the device manager is the Realtek SD card reader is (usually if the driver is missing, there will be a device listed in the device manager as a PCI Device).
You may have to insert a SD card to have the reader show up in the device manager.
Click on the card reader device needing the driver. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the SD card reader driver.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp96875.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
Then restart the PC and test if the SD card reader works again.
