Microsoft Windows 11

Dear community,

I have a brand new notebook from HP and all works fine. I can start HP support assistant and other HP tools. But if I login with a different user I do not see the installed tools anymore. Even not under installed apps or in the start menue.

It looks like the tools can only be used by the first user account which is created at the notebook?

Hi:

Try installing the support assistant software on each user's account and see if that works.

I had a problem with my HP support assistant software, so I went to uninstall it from the Windows control panel, but I was surprised there was no Support Assistant program listing in the control panel to select.

I then went to the main menu and was able to uninstall the app from there like you do with an app from the Microsoft Store.

That leads me to believe the app has to be installed for every individual user.
