HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-es0000 (268U3AV)

I have searched for solutions and attempted uninstalling the fingerprint device and restarting my device but the login option continues not to work. It worked perfectly when I bought the laptop. Now it displays a "currently unavailable" and "Something went wrong. Try again later" message but there are no options to address this error message. 

I would love to be able to use my fingerprint login again so please help me fix this issue. If you suggest an updated driver please send a link to this, I do not want to but and install things unnecessarily as this seems to be a software error nothing I have done, I am a student and dont have extra funds to spend. I invested in this laptop thinking I wouldnt have any issues and this, however small, is very frustrating!
