Hi @ANIL78,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Pavilion X360 Convertible laptop after upgrading to Windows 11. Taskbar flickering can be a frustrating problem, but there are a few potential solutions you can try to resolve it.

  • Update your graphics drivers: Outdated or incompatible graphics drivers can cause various display-related issues. Visit the HP support website or the website of your graphics card manufacturer to download and install the latest drivers for your specific model.
  • Disable unnecessary startup programs: Certain programs that launch at startup can conflict with Windows 11 and cause the taskbar to flicker. You can disable these programs by right-clicking on the taskbar, selecting "Task Manager," and navigating to the "Startup" tab. Disable any unnecessary programs from starting up with your computer.
  • Disable visual effects: Windows 11 includes various visual effects that can sometimes lead to compatibility issues. To disable them, right-click on the "Start" button, select "System," go to the "Advanced system settings" on the left, and click on the "Settings" button under the "Performance" section. In the Performance Options window, choose the "Adjust for best performance" option or manually disable specific visual effects.
  • Run a system file check: Windows has a built-in tool called System File Checker (SFC) that can help detect and repair corrupted system files. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator by right-clicking on the "Start" button, selecting "Command Prompt (Admin)," and then enter the command "sfc /scannow" (without quotes). Let the scan complete and follow any instructions if issues are found.
  • Perform a clean boot: Sometimes, third-party applications or services can interfere with Windows and cause various problems. Performing a clean boot allows you to start your computer with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. Instructions on how to perform a clean boot can be found on the Microsoft support website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
