Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (457S2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I had a windows 22H2 update and this morning a Bios update. Now it is in an on and off loop. Tired Windows + B, but that didn't work.

Yes, I too face the same issue.
(22-sep-2022) I updated my hp victus laptop to windows 11 22H2 And on Saturday night(24-Sep-2022) I got an bios update and lot of other updates via windows update… I did everything right, it was also connected to power. But after the bios got update, power button goes on and off and it’s in a loop…
I tried contacting hp support. They have no clues…

I tried windows+ b recovery method several times but still it’s in loop…

I checked software updates in hp website. I couldn’t find any bios/firmware for windows 11 22h2 variant,.

but when I changed the version to windows 11 21h2 I saw a bios file to download I think it was f14 bios version .. not sure Whether I can download that and recover that bios via usb method…

I’m really afraid to do that since it’s not mentioned for 22h2 .

can some one please help to get this issue resolved.?

thanks in advance

Have an empty USB flash drive ready. HP.com. Go to software and drivers. Press laptop. Enter serial number of your victus. Then 2 steps 1: windows 11 and 2 windows 11. Then open  bios system firmware and download F. 14 Rev. A on the USB drive. Once download etc. Put the USB drive in your victus and turn on. Let it do its thing. It worked for me.
