Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I had bought a wins 8 pro preinstalled laptop. Recently I upgraded it to win 10. But I have been facing the “100% disk “ issue that slows the system down considerable. 
I have done several changes to overcome the issue but it’s not been effective. (Search bar disabling, chrome setting, Skype setting, storeach setting )

 

I would like to go back to windows 8 pro. How can I find the key for that ? Since I have upgraded the system, I only have the HP product code and HP serial number. Thanks.

Hi:

 

If the notebook came with W8 from HP, the product key is in the BIOS.

 

Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below that will show you the W8 product key and the version of W8 the key is good for.

ShowKeyPlus1.0.7060.zip
