Windows 8 drivers

Hi all.

I  have installed Windows 8, and now I cannot find drivers for this OS.

My notebook works clumsily  without drivers and I am even enable use it properly.

Could anyone help me to find Windows 8 drivers? Where is it possible to download them? Do they even exist?

Hi:

Windows 8 and W8.1 are not supported for your notebook.

AMD did not develop any W8/W8.1 drivers for the graphics, for example.

Only W10 and W7 will work properly.

You're very welcome.

Yes, you should be able to use the W7 64-bit drivers from the HP 255 G5 notebook for most of the devices, and for the graphics, you can use the W7 driver from AMD.

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files from the 255 G5 notebook.

Graphics:  Select the W7 64-bit driver from the list.

One other thing regarding Windows 7...

The Wi-Fi card may not work even with the driver installed.

If that happens to you, you will have to remove the card and mask a couple of pins.
