HP Pavilion 15-ab032tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop was shipped with genuine Windows 8.1 and then I upgraded it to Windows 10 few years back and I have been using it from more than 4 years, but yesterday after doing some work I Hibernated my computer and today when I turn on my laptop from the hibernation then I saw a message to activate the Windows but I was not clear that the Windows activation which was working fine How did that stopped working unexpectedly?

Also I was not having the product key as I have not stored that anywhere But after using a tool mentioned in HP Support Forum by an expert (i.e Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder) I have found my Product key but then also I was unable to activate by navigating Settings > Updates > Activation as it showed me the error 0xC004F012.

So, I contacted Microsoft support and they told me to enter a command to fetch the product key but that command gave me the error and he can't help me more than that. Also, in Microsoft forums they mentioned that the Microsoft account and the product activation remains always in sync. So, as I was previously logged in using the Microsoft account with the activated windowI am getting this errorI am getting this errors then why this issue is occuring to me?

Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

Hi
ShowKeyPlus from the Microsoft Store (probably the best choice).
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/showkeyplus/9pkvzcprx9nv?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

The output is like this....
ShowKeyPlus - Windows Product Key Information

Product Name: Windows 10 Home
Version: 12345.678 (64-bit OS)
Product ID: 00000-00000-00000-AAOEM
Installed Key: 12345-67890-09876-54321
OEM Key: MICRO-SOFTY-WINDO-WSTEN-64BIT
OEM Edition: Win 10 RTM Core OEM:DM

ALSO
KeyFinderInstaller may help.…
It gives this…. – CD Key: 12345-67890-09876-54321

ELSE
There is a possibility of finding the same value in the Registry....
USING RegEdit the key is listed below and it’s content also shown.
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform

BackupProductKeyDefault 12345-67890-09876-54321

Three different names for the same value in 3 different software methods.

Then as it is a KEY issue, talk to Microsoft as the issuer of said keys.
