Hi all,
I've an issue with 3 new driver packages for my Notebook.
I've just downloaded from HP the following Driver Packages:
- sp87911
- sp88115
- sp87856
When I double click on these files Windows Defender SmartScreen pops up with the message:
"Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."
This doesen't happen with older packages.
It seems in some way linked to new certificates in these packages. Any Hints?
Thanks

Hello @WileECoyoteIT
Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.
I just tested and I can confirm this happens on my Windows 10 installation.
The files are digitally signed by HP Inc. but it founds them "harmful" because they are not widely used. Not sure if there is anything else.
If you download them using IE, you will have an option to choose more options and run the files anyway. You may also temporary disconnect to the Internet and then run the files. You will then be presented with an alert WSSF cannot connect to the Internet and you will again have an option to run the files anyway
In the meantime I will notify HP internally to check with Microsoft counterpart.Thank you for your report.
