Hi @Caliwoo85,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The Windows Feature Experience Pack is a modular package distributed via Windows Update or the Microsoft Store, delivering improvements to various Windows features, such as the Snipping Tool, touch keyboard, legacy apps, and parts of the UI, without requiring a full OS upgrade.

To ensure you have the latest enhancements, go to Settings → Windows Update, and check for updates under Optional updates; the Feature Experience Pack may appear there.

How to Update BIOS on Your HP PC

Updating your BIOS can enhance system stability, enable new hardware, or fix firmware issues. Here's the reliable, step-by-step process:

Preparation

  1. Back up your important files; BIOS updates carry risks.
  2. Connect your PC to AC power.
  3. If you're using BitLocker, temporarily suspend it.
  4. Disable any antivirus software for the duration of the update.

Get Model & Current BIOS Version

  1. Press Windows+R, type msinfo32, and open the System Information window.
  2. Note the System Model and BIOS Version/Date fields.
  3. Alternatively, restart your PC and press Esc or F10 during boot to view the current BIOS version.

Download BIOS Update

  1. Go to Official HP® Support for your PC model.
  2. Select your operating system and open the BIOS section.
  3. Compare the latest version with your installed BIOS; if newer, click Download.

Install & Update

  1. Run the downloaded BIOS executable as an administrator in Windows.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to extract files.
  3. The update tool will reboot the PC into a BIOS update utility and apply the update.
  4. Once complete, the system will automatically restart to Windows

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
