Product: HP EliteBook 840 G7 Notebook PC (8QA00AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Running a fully patched Win10 laptop, updated latest Windows everything and HP drivers too, even BIOS.
Oddly, HP says it doesn't recognize my current OS version which could be the source of the problem: Win10.0.19042. This build isn't included in the drop-down list for drivers.
I can setup Windows Hello Fingerprint and it works a few times, then eventually stops working and forces me to login old fashioned way. When I try to setup fingerprint biometrics again, it proceeds as if I've never done it before.
Any clues?
thanks.
