Hello, I'm writing this because none of my windows hello sign in options work. As they just say that they are currently unavailable. I've tried updating it, disabling's it then enabling it, and uninstalling it then reinstalling. Even with that it's still not working so I'm hoping someone here as the answer to my problem.

It sounds like your original account is stuck in a temporary profile, which can happen due to corrupted user settings. Here’s how to fix it:

Fixing the Temporary Profile Issue

Step 1: Restart Your Computer Multiple Times

  • Sometimes, multiple restarts can restore your original profile.
  • Try restarting at least 3-4 times and check if your account loads properly.

Step 2: Create a New User and Transfer Files

  • If the issue persists, you may need to move your files from the temporary profile to the new admin account.
  • Navigate to C:\Users\TEMP and copy your important files to the new account.

Step 3: Run Windows Troubleshooter

  1. Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot.
  2. Select Other Troubleshooters.
  3. Run the User Profile Troubleshooter.

For more details, you can check this Microsoft guide.

Let me know if you need further assistance! Hopefully, we can get your original account working again.

Hi, I appreciate your response to my query regarding attempting to resolve this. Unfortunately, despite trying every option you listed, nothing changed. I just ended up contacting Microsoft and they used quick assist. The options are working now but my only account is now saying its temporary. I made another admin account that seems to be working perfectly fine so far. Do you know of any way I could fix this?
