Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am getting errors on recent Windows updates. Trying to update to  Windows 10 1903. They fail. Is there an HP file I need to download that can fix this problem? Microsoft wants to rebuild the system. I don't want to go that route.

What is the exact model of HP PC you are using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

 

For now, let us try these steps:

 

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

 

Run Windows Update troubleshooter

Click here to know how.

 

Download the most recent Servicing Stack Update (SSU)

Click here to download. Restart your device and check for updates.
