Hello there everyone. I have an Hp Elite-Book g3 840 laptop which supports USB 3.0 . Anyways ,i have purchased an original San disk Usb 3.1 ,but i am not getting its copy/write speed up to the mark. After searching about it on the internet , I have found out that i need to enable write cache for that USB device. But the problem is that i am unable to do so.I am getting an error that says "windows could not change the write-caching setting for the device" .Kindly help me ,I frequently need to copy paste a large amount of data ,but it has become an hindrance for me as I am not getting full potential speed from my USB device, I couldn't find any solutions online. I am expecting your help,Thanks 🙂
