Hi, Windows is eating up my C drive hardisk space every 4-5 days due to Windows Updates. I've blocked win updates already from everywhere still sometimes process get restarted and it fills my C drive like taking 2-3 GB of space. I extend my drive space >> but still after few days that's also gone -- eaten up by windows.
1) I hate it really. I don't need updates at all, I am happy with what I've already in Windows10.
2) I searched but could not find any real way to stop windows from eating up my SSD. Already using CCleaner, even turned-off system restore point from day 1, etc.
3) I need a REAL way to clean-up all that junk updates data or whatever windows files eating up my SSD C drive space. Is there a pro method or tool to fix it once and forever? I'm happy to run cleanup every 1-2 weeks for sure.
Thank you so much for all your help.

Hi:
I use two methods to clean up junk files:
1. Each week I run the Windows Disk cleanup utility and click on the Cleanup system files button.
Then I check all of the boxes to delete the files that appear.
Sometimes the Windows update file line shows a few GB of files.
2. The other utility I run is the free Wise disk cleaner app:
Wise Disk Cleaner - Free Disk Cleanup and Defrag Tool (wisecleaner.com)
With this utility, I check the box on the right side of the window to include the Advanced cleaner instead of running that section separately.
When that is done, I run the System Slimming section and that deletes old Windows installation files that are no longer needed.
I just ran it this second and even though I ran it on Monday (which is when I normally run it), it just found, and I deleted over 4.5 GB of junk files (presumably from Microsoft's monthly 'Patch Tuesday' updates).
