Product: HP EliteBook 840 G6 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I just got a new HP 840 G6, windows 11, and the Windows Hello facial recognition and fingerprint recognition is showing as unavailable.

 

I have checked the device manager and there is no biometric driver on the device manager.

 

How can I get the facial and fingerprint recognition to be available

Those are optionals. Did you buy those options at the beginning ?
