I've seen dozens of posts on this with no resolution. I've tried to create a BIOS update disk on 3 different computers to revive an HP laptop with corrupted BIOS but the utility will not launch.

Thanks for the response - on this machine, the only option available to me is the manual flash with a USB drive but the utility won't run. I'm told it would work on a Windows 32 bit machine but haven't tried it yet. This utility should be functional on a 64 bit machine, IMHO.
