Hi, when I run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Window 1.7.0.0 Wireless Stress Test on my Spectre laptop the test seems to run on endlessly. Each time I've tried running it, it's requested and accepted a network password then starts the test and then nothing. I've waited 10 minutes with out seeing any indication of movement or progress and finally cancelled out assuming the test hung up somewhere. Anyone know what's supposed to happen and/or what I should try next?
Thanks!

@PrintNeedzFix, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like the Wireless Stress Test is hanging, which can happen for a number of reasons. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the issue:
Ensure the Wireless Adapter is Working Properly
Check Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure your laptop is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network before you start the test. Sometimes, the test can freeze if the network connection isn't solid.
Update Network Drivers: Make sure your wireless network drivers are up to date. To update drivers:
Right-click on Start > Device Manager.
Expand Network Adapters, right-click on your wireless adapter, and select Update Driver.
You can also visit the HP support website and manually download the latest drivers for your model.
Reinstall the HP Diagnostics Tool
If the problem persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
