HP Envy 15 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer recently did a update. It appeared to be a big Windows 10 update. My current version is Windows 10 1703, OS Build 15063.332. This update date was completed sometime Sunday (12 June) afternoon and I recieved an error that said my accelerometerDLL.dll was missing right after reboot. And since then I can't really use anything internet browser related; both Chrome and *shudder* Windows Edge won't respond/actually load a tab, but I am connected to the internet - I can access files from my Dropbox and OneDrive.

I was just going to reply to this thread, since it seemed like all I need to do is get the correct replacement file. But that appears to be closed now.

My product number is: E1R44AV

My OS is: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit Operating Systems, x64 based processor

Thank you for any help that can be provided.

Hi:

Open the Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features, right click the entry for the HP 3D DriveGuard, and select Uninstall.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

When you are at the Windows desktop, download and install this version of HP 3D DriveGuard at the link below, and restart the PC.

Thank you. That seems to solve the accelerometerDLL problem, but apparently whatever is going on with my internet broswers isn't connected to this. Maybe caused, but no longer connect. I'll go figure out what is going on that now.
