Hi all,
I got this error message every time I restart the computer:
the program can't start because accelerometrdll.DLL is missing from your computer...
It started to appear after Windows 10 was automatically updated with some patch (the one that provide Paint 3D between other new functionalities)
I found the follow thread regarding this issue. I tried the fixes provided there, but they didn't work (wrong version?).
Is there anyway I can fix that in my laptop?
Model: 15-AW002LA
OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language

Hi,
Open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select Uninstall.
When this has completed, restart the notebook.
When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78001-78500/sp78033.exe

I'm having the same problem, and I've tried following the directions posted here, but I still get the accelerometerDLL.dll missing error when I restart my computer. I've tried downloading and installing the latest version of HP 3D DriveGuard about three times now (SP78033).
Can someone help?
I've been having no end of problems after the Win10 Creators update...!

This did not work for me. I did the uninstall, then rebooted (no error message), ran the download, rebooted again, and the error message was back. HP Pavilion 15, Windows 10 Home 64-bit v 1703, build 15063.608.

Finally fixed it by downloading Mcrosoft Visual C++2015 Redistributable file from here (Microsoft). Article discussing the problem is here, though it starts off by referring to a different DLL. If you scroll right down, you will find someone else with the Accelerometerdll.dll issue.
