accidently clicked always when trying to open a PDF file with Word. Now I cant find a way to get my PDF files back to open with PDF software

Windows 11

 

Settings > Apps > Default apps

Enter the file type in the search bar > pdf

When the "app" is listed that is opening that file type, Click on it > Check the list > Select which software / application to use when opening file type "PDF".

 

Example - Settings > Apps > Default Apps > File Type

Settings_Apps_Default_Apps_File-Type_1Settings_Apps_Default_Apps_File-Type_1
