Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Laptop with original windows10, and I try to reset factory

Both HP recovery and Windows 10 recovery does not work. They both failed to recover the computer.

I'm going to format the disk and reinstall Windows 10 from scratch. I was wondering how I can activate the Windows after the installation?

If I reinstall the windows 10 with this file from “create windows 10 installation media”, then I can activate my original windows 10 or not?

Thank you

Since your PC was already running Win10, it was registered with the MS activation servers.

When you reinstall Win10 and are presented with a screen to enter the product key, choose the option to skip that and continue the installation.

After you finish the installation and get back online, your PC will contact the MS activation servers and reactivate automatically.

Good Luck
