Check Rotation Lock:
Press Windows + A to open Quick Settings.
Look for Rotation Lock. If it's on, turn it off.
Enable Sensor Services:
Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
Look for Sensor Monitoring Service and Sensor Data Service. Make sure both are running and set to Automatic.
Update Sensors Driver:
Go to Device Manager → Expand Sensors or System Devices.
Right-click and update drivers for anything like "Kionix Sensor" or "Intel Sensor Hub".
BIOS Check:
Sometimes sensors are disabled in BIOS. Restart, enter BIOS (Esc or F10), and look for any sensor or rotation-related settings.
If none of that works, run HP Support Assistant to reinstall chipset/sensor drivers.
