Hello! I have a battery calibration issue (when it's unplugged).
The problem is when my HP says it's around 50% charge left the notebook unexpectedly switch off.
HP assistants battery check shows Ok status.
I did manual calibration according to official HP Customer Support note but it won't help.
Please advise.

If the issue persists run a Battery Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Power > Battery
Let me know how it goes 😊

It's probably a bad battery, although the steps to recalibrate it can vary from model to model. If you have the laptop plugged in most of the time and have the battery in it, it will shorten it's life a lot faster than if you used it off power. If you have it plugged in all the time, remove the battery.
