i was digging a little on how to limit your battery charging percentage to a desired percentage. And came across a Battery Care Function in the BIOS settings in some hp laptops. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/Configuring-battery-charging-limit-to-desired-value-7...
But this settings is not available in my laptop. I updated my BIOS to version 2.0, but still i don't see this option. A lot of other manufactures provide this option. How can i enable the same on my laptop?

@redrum4017 Welcome to HP Community!
HP has locked a few settings on your computer which are being managed by the system configuration as the device is configured to its optimal performance.
There's no way of resetting or changing these locked settings via HP articles or assistance, you could unlock and make changes at your own discretion using 3rd party tools,
however, HP doesn't recommend the same nor has information about the tools used.
I hope you understand.
That said, learn how to get the most service and life from your HP notebook battery by following these industry-wide suggested best practices: click here for details.

many other brands provide this facility. HP themselves provide the same on some laptops. Why not for this laptop?
I use my laptop mainly as a desktop replacement. Being constantly at 100% damages battery. HP gets more money selling batteries. Can you add this feature?

Unfortunately those options you are looking for are not available on HP Consumer Notebooks and there are no ways of adding such feature since HP Pc’s uses a customized BIOS setting (Tattooed BIOS). This is done in the best interest of safeguarding the PC for the optimal performance and not to cause any extensive component failure.
