Hi @Abhishek2328,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're experiencing a couple of common issues with your HP laptop related to battery performance and slower boot times. Here's how you can address these problems.

Battery Calibration: Your battery might need recalibration. To calibrate:

  • Charge the laptop to 100% and leave it plugged in for an additional hour.
  • Unplug and use the laptop until the battery is completely drained and the laptop shuts down.
  • Recharge the laptop back to 100% without interruption.

Check Battery Health: Use HP Support Assistant to check your battery's health. This tool can help diagnose if the battery needs replacement.

Drivers and BIOS Updates: Ensure that all your drivers are up to date, especially the BIOS and the battery management system. Visit HP Support to download the latest versions.

Battery Replacement: If these steps don't help, consider inspecting the battery for signs of wear. If it's old or faulty, replacing it might be necessary.

Boot Time Improvement

  • Manage Startup Programs: Disable unnecessary startup programs. You can do this via Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc, navigating to the 'Startup' tab, and disabling programs that you don't need right away.
  • SSD/HDD Upgrade: If your laptop uses a traditional hard drive, upgrading to an SSD can significantly reduce boot times.
  • Windows Settings: Use Windows Troubleshooter for performance issues, and consider performing a clean boot to see if any non-essential services are slowing down the boot process.
  • Clear Temporary Files: Use Disk Cleanup or a similar tool to remove unnecessary files that might slow down your system.
  • RAM Upgrade: If your laptop is low on RAM, increasing the RAM can help improve boot and general performance.

By following these suggestions, you should be able to improve both the battery performance and boot time of your HP laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
