Most owners get two to four years out of a main battery.
Some owners get one year or less.
There is no single method of use that applies to all notebook owners.
That is why notebook batteries, even when purchased directly from their manufacturer are only given a one year warranty.
It makes no difference as to which manufacturer produced the notebook.
I would expect to be able to use a 14 series notebook with an SSD for about eight to eleven hours on a full battery charge.
!5" and larger notebooks, especially with legacy SATA hard disks get about 3.5 hours out of a charge.
That is what I get out of my person 2018 HP Spectre x360-13-ap0000 series ultrabook. I can fly from the Netherlands to the USA and use it during the complete flight.
