I cant seem to get a bios update for my HP Pavilion x360 - 14m-dh1001dx ..... I want to load linux into my pc but i cant manage some things in my bios and my installations keep failing over and over cos of I/O errors ....... Any fixes? 

 

Im on F.08 by the way on my bios

The only option you have would be to make a USB BIOS recovery drive with the latest BIOS update from the link below.

 

HP Pavilion x360 - 14m-dh1001dx Software and Driver Details

 

You will have to do this on a PC with Windows on it.

Once you update the BIOS to this version you cannot install an older BIOS version.
