I called in a month or so ago and had an agent control my computer because I had continuous pop ups to restart my computer and it was getting really difficult to use. At this point my computer is fine but I cannot seem to download anything. I am blocked from downloading files I need for school, pictures, anything of that nature. I will get a little notice under it that say that it cannot be downloaded due to virus scan failed. I am really in a pinch, and I need this to be corrected.

Welcome to the HP Forum.
Did an official HP Support agent "fix" your PC or did you contact a different entity?
Can you run a manual virus/malware scan and what A-V software is your PC using?
Is your PC's A-V software getting definition updates? Is your PC getting Windows updates?
What you are experiencing sounds a little suspicious.
