Hi There.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when your AirPods Pro 3 won’t connect to your HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14" 2-in-1 Laptop (14-fp0000) running Windows 11, especially when you’ve tried multiple times. Let’s fix this together so you can enjoy that seamless audio experience again.

Step-by-Step Fix: AirPods Pro 3 Not Connecting to HP Laptop

1. Check Bluetooth Status

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices
  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned ON
  • Click “Add device” > Bluetooth and keep the AirPods case open with both buds inside

2. Reset AirPods Pro 3

Sometimes a fresh start helps:

  • Put both AirPods in the case
  • Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the light flashes amber, then white
  • Try pairing again via Windows Bluetooth settings

3. Remove Old Pairing Info

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices
  • If AirPods are listed, click the three dots > Remove device
  • Restart your laptop and try pairing again

4. Update Bluetooth Drivers

  • Press Windows + X > Device Manager
  • Expand Bluetooth
  • Right-click your Bluetooth adapter (e.g., Intel or Realtek) > Update driver
  • Choose Search automatically for drivers

5. Check Audio Output

Once connected:

  • Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar > Sound settings
  • Under Output, select AirPods Pro 3
  • Test audio playback

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
