Hi @seifeldin8899

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for pointing that out—it's understandably frustrating when a built-in feature like the camera vanishes from Device Manager.

Let’s walk through a few steps to help bring it back:

Check Connectivity

  1. Physical Inspection: Ensure the camera is not covered or blocked.
  2. F1 Key: On some HP models, you can enable or disable the camera by pressing the F1 key or a function key with a camera icon.

Update Drivers

Check Windows Update:

  • Open Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates to install any pending system updates.

HP Support Assistant:

  • Use HP Support Assistant to scan for any driver updates. You can find this application by searching your Windows Start menu.

Device Manager Actions

Show Hidden Devices:

  • Open Device Manager, click on 'View', and select 'Show hidden devices'. This will reveal devices that are currently not active but have drivers installed.

Scan for Hardware Changes:

  • Right-click on the Camera or Imaging devices category in Device Manager and click "Scan for hardware changes".

Update Driver:

  • If the camera appears after scanning for changes, right-click on it and select "Update driver".

BIOS Settings

Access BIOS:

  • Restart the computer and press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS menu.

Check Camera Settings:

  • Ensure that the integrated camera is enabled in the BIOS settings.

Let me know how it goes or if you'd like help identifying your exact model for the driver link. We’ll get this sorted.

If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
